MARLON BRANDO  He is known for being the greatest and most influential actor of all time, stemming from roles in The Godfather and a Streetcar Named Desire. In his autobiography Songs My Mother Taught Me, Brando himself reveals that he did have a romantic relationship with Monroe.

FRANK SINATRA  No woman could resist the singing voice that still to this day melts America’s hearts. Frank Sinatra, one of the most legendary artists was in a relationship with Marilyn. It was stated by a Sinatra biographer that he wanted to save Marilyn from her drug addiction by marrying her. The biographer also shared that she rejected a proposal by the singer and that he wanted to “save her”.

DEAN MARTIN Another star-studded singer and a member of the ‘Rat Pack’, Dean Martin was a handsome and charismatic celebrity who was adored by many. While it was known that Monroe was friends with his wife, it is reported that the two had an affair.

MICKEY ROONEY  A legendary Broadway, acting and radio star, Mickey Rooney is another name known to many. It is confirmed that he dated the actress and while out on a date together is where Marilyn met her second husband Joe DiMaggio. Mickey was chatting with the baseball star when it became obvious that his attention was heading towards the blonde on his arm.

JOE DIMAGGIO  Being a New York Yankee star put him in the spotlight and made him a superstar, but his life became even bigger when he married Marilyn back in 1954. The couple had a reported toxic and abusive relationship which resulted to divorce nine months later. They say that his love for Marilyn never went away as DiMaggio never remarried.

JAMES DOUGHERTY Before Marilyn’s fame, fortune and blonde hair she was just Norma Jeane Mortenson and wife to James Dougherty. The couple married when she was just 16 to prevent her from going into foster care but were “madly in love”. As Hollywood’s spotlight chose to shine on its newfound star, M divorced him in 1946.

ANTON LAVEY  There are many theories that come to this surprising pair that may freak you out and even confuse you. Anton LaVey, who was the founder of the Church of Santan reportedly met the blonde bombshell when she still was working at a burlesque house in L.A. Though this was before the name Marilyn Monroe, he was drawn to her and they had a very sexual relationship. He called her one of his “Kitten” slaves.

ARTHUR MILLER  Arthur Miller was a famed playwright in Hollywood and is known to be Marilyn’s third husband. He divorced his college sweetheart and within one month he married the actress. With her drug addiction, troubles, and time apart  their four-year marriage ended in divorce.  Marilyn died one year after.

ROBERT F. SLATZER  This acclaimed book critic made a public announcement that he had a brief marriage to Marilyn. It is reported that he claimed the pair went on a trip to Mexico, were married, and arrived back to California just a few days later. They were told by studio executive Darryl Zanuck to annul the marriage. This story does have inconsistencies as this was during the time Marilyn was with Joe DiMaggio.

DARRYL F. ZANUCK Darryl Zanuck was a founder of 20th Century Fox and had an admiration for young actresses. As it is known that Marilyn slept with powerful men in the industry to climb to the top of her career, it is rumored that Zanuck is on the list. It is also reported that the movie executive was no fond of her.

SAM GIANCANA He was the boss of the Chicago Outfit and is known to be one of he notorious leading men in the mob. Sam Giancana was supposed with Marilyn the night before her death in Frank Sinatra’s Cal-Neva lodge. A valuable source claims that he was with the singer to convince her to not go public with her affair she was having with President John F. Kennedy. It is rumored that Giancana put the hit on her death, as she was found dead in California the next day.

THE KENNEDY BROTHERS This scandal is known to be the reason behind Marilyn Monroe’s death. Though this may come as a surprise, Marilyn had an alleged affair with the then President John F. Kennedy. They met on his birthday, where she sang the famous tune “Happy Birthday Mr. President.” She was reportedly going public with their relationship and as those close to the President were trying to stop her, aka Bobby Kennedy, he supposedly had relations with her as well. It is a theory that the family had a hit out for her murder to keep her quiet.

PETER LAWFORD  He was the brother-in-law of the Kennedy brothers and was a member of the Rat Pack. As he also tried to keep Marilyn quiet on her affair with JFK, it is rumored that Peter Lawford slept with her as well.

YVES MONTAND  The Italian-French singer had the privilege of working with Marilyn on song projects at the height of her career. It is rumored that during their collaboration, the two stars slept together.

HUMPHREY BOGART  If you watch classic black and white film today, you will most likely find Humphrey Bogart as the main star. With his roles in Casablanca, The Big Sleep, and The Maltese Falcon gave him a cultural icon status, he did have a close bond with Marilyn. Though he was married for Lauren Bacall for 12 years, the pair were reportedly intimate

MILTON BERLE  This comedian was known to be the breaking star in television’s golden age and knew how to make people laugh. Milton Berle was the center of attention for all women as he was known to break down dressing room doors while being intimate. The two stars had a fling in the late 1940s and had a common interest in smoking little cigars as they co-starred together in Let’s Make Love. The relationship ended when Milton met another actress that went by Linda Smith.

GEORGE JESSEL  He was a man of many talents in Hollywood as he was a singer, songwriter, actor, and Academy Award-Winning Producer. George Jessel was another socialite and powerful man who reportedly courted Marilyn in 1948.
