At the end of the millennium, a psychopath and murdere is chased by the police of a major Latin metroplis. He finds refuge in the house of a woman who has just been abandoned by her lover, an unscrupulous politician. Something starts to develop between these two, who should be antagonistic towards each other. However, a bond of violence and abandonment unite them. The police follow the murdere's trail and they start to surround the besieged house. The drama really unfolds.

"Un mundo femenino en un universo machista, donde las relaciones y desamor conforman una red tejida con tramas de interés, egoísmo y concesiones. ¿Cuál es nuestra búsqueda en el amor? ¿A qué estamos dispuestos en esa búsqueda?" Gloria es una mujer solitaria ex secretaria y ex amante de un importante hombre público. Con algunos abortos en su haber y una marcada tendencia a ahogar las penas en alcohol recibe un día la visita de Gabriel, un vendedor de ollas de magnética personalidad, gran verbosidad y sentido del humor. Gabriel se las ingenia para seducir a Gloria y la va manipulando hasta lograr entrar en su vida y en su casa. En el segundo acto, vemos cómo Gloria ha sido prostituida y como estos personajes conviven con sus miserias y temores. Gloria lucha hasta el final para liberarse de esta sutil red en la que está atrapada por medio de mentiras y engaños.
