¿Qué es el CEA Televisa?

Fundado en 1978 y dirigido por el Sr. Eugenio Cobo desde
1987. El CEA es una escuela que forma actores profesionales desde un enfoque
integral:
Concibe al alumno no sólo como
un sujeto susceptible de adquirir técnicas específicas sino, además, como una persona en toda
su dimensión humana; un Ser que integra sus habilidades, sus valores, su
conocimiento y su propia historia en su desarrollo artístico.
El objetivo del CEA es formar jóvenes actores que tengan la personalidad y
capacidad adecuadas para interpretar papeles protagónicos en los diferentes
medios de producción de Televisa (televisión, cine, teatro, radio...). Durante
3 intensos años, de lunes a viernes (más fines de semanas en periodos de
ensayos y montajes), los alumnos son entrenados en áreas fundamentales del quehacer actoral:
Área Actoral
Las técnicas más vigentes en la historia de la actuación,
las metodologías más avanzadas, son
puestas a prueba en la construcción de un actor que sea capaz de
integrar: mente, cuerpo y alma en la formación de su ser artístico. Así, las
técnicas de la teatralidad más consecuente, de televisión, de cine, radio; pero
también del trabajo de la Imaginación,
de la Expresión Oral, de Respiración, etc. forman un conjunto de exigencias que
el alumno ha de apropiar día con día.
Área Corporal
Las técnicas clásicas del
entrenamiento corporal para hacedores escénicos, junto con las técnicas más
modernas de dicho entrenamiento, conforman esta área de alto rendimiento
físico.
Área Teórico-Cultural
Los desarrollos históricos del Arte, el conocimiento
acumulado y más vigente de la teatralidad, así como las pautas modernas y
siempre cambiantes del ejercicio actoral, son parte esencial de una intensa actividad intelectual de alumnos
y maestros.
A lo largo de su historia, el CEA ha sido capaz de proveer,
de manera sostenida, el 90% del
talento artístico que labora en las diferentes producciones de Televisa.
Si bien el CEA ofrece únicamente la carrera de Actuación, no
pocos de sus egresados alcanzan competencia en otras actividades del amplio campo del
espectáculo: Canto, baile, conducción, producción, etc.
El CEA no
tiene escuelas asociadas en el D.F. ni en el interior de la República. Tampoco
en otras ciudades del
mundo.
EL CEA no tiene costo, únicamente deberán solventar los
gastos escolares: material didáctico, libros, equipo de trabajo, etc. Así
mismo, deberán ocuparse de su manutención y vivienda en la ciudad de México.
El CEA no cuenta con dormitorios escolares.

La
duración de la carrera completa es de tres años (impartida en 3 cursos
anuales). Nuestro calendario escolar
comienza en Enero de
cada año y el Horario de clases
es de 9 horas al día, que fluctúan
entre las 08:00 y las 20:00 Hrs. de Lunes a Viernes.
El CEA no
tiene escuelas asociadas en el D.F. ni en el Interior de la República,
tampoco en otras ciudades del mundo.
El CEA no tiene costo. Los alumnos únicamente deberán solventar
sus propios gastos escolares:
material, libros, equipo de trabajo, etc. Así también, deberán procurarse
su manutención y estancia en
la Ciudad de México.

O autoru (1949)
Richard Boleslavsky was a member of the Moscow Art Theater and cofounder of the American
Laboratory Theater
School, which trained Lee Strasberg
and Stella Adler among other actors and teachers, playing an important role in
bringing Stanislavsky's techniques to America. Although he directed Hollywood films in the 1930s and 1940s, his enduring work
is contained in this book.

The great Russian actor, director and teacher Michael
Chekhov (1891-1955)...nephew of the famous playwright Anton Chekhov gives his
final testament on theatre and the art of acting personally from his lecture
hall in Hollywood, California from the last year of his life.
He was Konstantin Stanislavsky's (1863-1938) greatest
disciple (from 1912 to 1918) and went on to further and surpass his master's
techniques and ideas.
He incorporated world philosophy and spiritual ideas (called
Anthroposophy) into his art which he stumbled upon in 1918 from the famous
German philosopher Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), whom he met for the first time a
few years later, in 1922. This is as close as one can get to personally knowing
Rudolf Steiner himself through one of his greatest pupils.
Chekhov quietly continued his Anthroposophical theatre work
up until his death on Sept. 30, 1955.
Some of Chekhov's many students include: Anthony Quinn,
Gregory Peck, Jack Nicholson, Marilyn Monroe, Ingrid Bergman, Jack Palance,
Anthony Hopkins, Elia Kazan, Clint Eastwood, Mala Powers, Gary Cooper and Yul
Brynner.
Chekhov's colleagues, friends, and associates include:
Sergei Rachmaninov, Max Reinhardt, Stella Adler, Edouard Schuré, Alfred
Hitchcock and Marie von Sivers (Marie Steiner).
This 5 hour collection of lectures is divided into four
parts:
