Video Interview: Talking ‘Closed Circuit’ With The Cast
http://latino-review.com/2013/08/video-interview-talking-closed-circuit-with-the-cast/
You are never alone.
At least not in the UK
where everyone is being watched. All the time. Talk about giving “every breath
you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you,” a whole new meaning. British
secret government surveillance certainly trumps that of the US, where they
only read and listen to everything you say and type. Paranoid yet? The new
British suspense-thriller, Closed Circuit raises all sorts of questions about a
lack of privacy, terrorism, conspiracy, lies, British Secret Service cover-ups
and the actual truth, which often remains classified by the government. After
all, what you don’t know, won’t hurt you. Or so we think.
Directed by John Crowley, the film follows two British barristers
and ex-lovers played by Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall, whose lives are threatened
when they find themselves on a high-profile, dangerous trial for a terrorism
bombing in a bustling London
market. Latino-review had a chance to pow-wow with Crowley, Bana and Hall recently about the
heart-stopping script, British surveillance, the research involved, attending
closed hearings and more. See what they had to say and be sure to snag a seat
in a theatre near you today, to see the shocking mystery unfold in Closed
Circuit.

Eric Bana Talks to Chelsea Handler About Being a "Man
of the Bush"—Watch
http://uk.eonline.com/shows/chelsea/news/452660/eric-bana-talks-to-chelsea-handler-about-being-a-man-of-the-bus
Ah, leave it to Chelsea Handler to humorously turn something
into a double entendre.
When Eric Bana stopped by Monday's Chelsea Lately, the
subject of the Australian actor's love for the great outdoors quickly became a
topic of conversation.
"You're like a race-car driver and you do all the stuff
in the bush. You go deep in the bush," Handler said to Bana before she
turned to the camera and clarified, "The real bush. The Australian
bush."
"I do love getting into the bush, absolutely,"
Bana noted.
The 45-year-old hunk added, "You do run into all kinds
of animals when you race around the bush at home. There's a lot of kangaroos, a
lot of snakes."
Later, when Handler brings up Bana's supposed love of
surfing, he quickly corrects her, saying, "Chelsea, I don't surf. I know you think,
'He's Australian, so therefore he must surf,' but no, I do not surf. I'm a man
of the bush, as you say. I'm not a man of the sea."
To which Handler replies, "I understand. It's a
conflict, actually, because sometimes the bush meets the sea."
Eric Bana's Secrets to a Strong Marriage

The Australian actor opens up about his home life and shares
what keeps his marriage to wife, Rebecca, so strong.
1. I knew my wife, Rebecca, was "the one" because
she was the greatest and most fun friend—who I could also date!
2. My wife is very patient about my watching soccer with
friends and riding a motorcycle.
3. We like exercising together; we both hit a not-bad tennis
ball.
4. She looks her most beautiful without makeup, even when
she's just helping the kids (Klaus, 14, and Sophia, 11) with homework.
5. I can make her laugh, which, quite simply, is good for my
ego.
6. We don't really like going out without our kids, so for a
date we'll walk the dog or have coffee before they come home from school.
7. She appreciates my practical-romantic side: I'll fill up
her car with gas, that kind of thing.
8. I can have a short fuse—that would be my downfall. But
she knows just how to put me back in my place.
