British actor Henry Cavill has given fans a glimpse of the grueling fitness regime that helped get him into superhero shape for Man Of Steel

And all the hard work was worth it for the 30-year-old star because the blockbuster took in a massive $128.7 million during it's opening weekend making it the highest grossing movie in June.

In the video, Henry stripped off his shirt to reveal his incredible muscles and is seen lifting huge weights and kettle-balls.

Amy Adams and Henry Cavill get to work on their upcoming movie, Man of Steel, on Wednesday (October 5) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The 28-year-old actor stars as Clark Kent and Superman, while Amy takes on the role of Louis Lane.

Henry Cavill is dapper while attending a party for the premiere of his upcoming film Man of Steel held at Lancia Cafe during the 2013 Taormina Filmfest on Saturday (June 15) in Taormina, Italy.

The 30-year-old British actor was joined by his co-stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Antje Traue, and director Zack Snyder.
