I was in Yugoslavia in the early 90's. It was a lovely country with very nice people. If you had told me then that within two years the country would have descended into civil war with mass genocides happening, I wouldn't have believed you. We think, in the west, that we are immune to it. That we are immune to such things happening. We are not.
