At this time it is not possible to make any reliable predictions on cancellations due to Covid-19 in the near future. At the moment, all events in April as well as select events in summer have been cancelled, one reason being, that it is not possible to proceed with rehearsals or preparations. Promoters and agencies are discussing the possibility of postponing events, however nothing has been decided in any official form as of yet. The status of Jonas Kaufmann's performances will be checked on a daily basis and any cancellations or changes will be made public on his website.

Jonas Kaufmann’s new album “Wien” is a deeply personal tribute to the world-famous melodies from the birthplace of waltz and operetta - “Vienna”.
None other than the Vienna Philharmonic is a more natural fit for such a recording of evergreen hits from Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár and Robert Stolz as well as Georg Kreisler and Peter Kreuder, with the varied programme conducted by Ádám Fischer. Soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen joins on three duets, including the title melody of Wiener Blut. His new album will be released on October 11, 2019 after which Jonas Kaufmann will take the same programme on a European tour.
