Born in 1987 in Ljubljana. In 2014 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana with a bachelor degree in painting. His graduate work was titled Escape from Alkatraz. In the second semester of 2010/2011 he attended a student exchange programme in Jiří Černický’s painting studio at the AAAD Academy in Prague.

His first exhibit titled Ježi (Hedghogs) was held in 2003. The Ježi project was also selected for the Artist's Book 2005 competition organised by Galerija P74, MGLC Ljubljana and Zavod P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. The book was presented at the 26th Biennial of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana. Since 2006 he has been contributing to Objektiv, the Saturday supplement of the newspaper Dnevnik. He participates in projects and exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad (e. g. since 2006 he has been participating in projects run by Forum Ljubljana, Strip Core/Stripburger and others). He is cofounder of the OFFTIR Association for Visual and Sound Art, whose first public show was the Liminale project shown at the 7th Triennial of Contemporary Arts in Slovenia. He lives and works in Ljubljana.

Awards: He exhibited at the 8th Slovenian Biennial of Illustration, where he was awarded the Hinko Smrekar Recognition for newspaper illustration (19 November, 2008). On 15 January, 2009 he received the Award for Special Artistic Achievements in the academic year 2007/2008 awarded by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. In 2011 he received the Prešernova Student Award for painting awarded by the University of Ljubljana.

The Subtitled series shows images of found objects, spontaneous sculptures and placements in public space, while the subtitled text is composed of newspaper and magazine clippings, fragments, words and sentences taken out of their primary context. In some cases the text is replaced by an image, so the primary image is subtitled by another image. The series is inspired by the relationship between words and images in a film in which the subtitled text follows the speech, i.e. the sound produced by the images we see on film. The series is based on this relationship, although the relationship is not logically subordinate, since the words and images meet by chance.

The author photographed the interventions on site, with the image and text being placed side by side. The series is captured on slides.
