About the Global Media Summit
The Nomura Media team is pleased to invite you to the Global
Media & Telco Summit in New York;
Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 May at The Four Seasons.
The conference will provide investors access to the key
global media management teams over three days in New York.
The schedule is shaping up well with the speaker list for
the “Agency Day” on Tuesday 28 now confirmed and a number of speakers for
Wednesday 29 & Thursday 30 also confirmed. Please see the agenda tab for

The conference will be split into 3 days:
Tuesday 28 May –
“Agency Day”. It’s a full house…! We will be hosting all six major global
advertising agencies on one day. From Publicis Groupe, Bob Lord, Head of
Digital will present, while Interpublic will again give us an insight into its
leading digital agency, Huge. From Omnicom Group Inc., Randy Weisenburger, CFO
will present and from Havas we have Dave Dugan, Head of Digital from Arnold. From Aegis Group
plc., Nigel Morris, Head of US Operations will present again and WPP plc have
yet to confirm their speakers. We also have Tony Pace, Chief Marketing Officer
from Subway Restaurants who will give us an insight into the agency/client
relationship.
Wednesday 29 May – European & US Media. The day will
include presentations from the major European publishers focusing on business
areas such as legal, financial, education and tax. Where possible, we aim to
differentiate the conference through presentations by operational management,
focusing on specific company divisions that are driving growth. Reed Elsevier
is confirmed so far. Confirmed speakers
so far: AT&T, Time Warner Cable, Viacom, Inc. & Scripps Networks
Interactive Inc., Thomson Reuters and UBM, with more to be announced. Mike
Walsh, CEO of the Legal Division from Reed Elsevier will be hosting a dinner in
the evening at the Four Seasons.
Thursday 30 May – US Media and Telecom Summit. Thursday sees the US Media &
Telecom names take centre stage for the third year running. The format will be
“fireside chat” with CEOs and CFOs from the leading US media and telecom companies. The
day will be hosted by Michael Nathanson & Michael McCormack with questions
also being invited from the audience. Confirmed speakers so far: Cablevision
Systems Corporation, CenturyLink Inc., Discovery Communications Inc., Home Box
Office, Netflix, Inc., News Corp., The Walt Disney Company & Verizon
Communications Inc., with more to be announced.
