President Erdoğan’s Visit to Serbia

FOLLOWING IS THE PRESS STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN’S OFFICIAL VISIT TO SERBIA:
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will proceed from Ukraine to Serbia for an official visit on Oct. 9-11, 2017 at the invitation of President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia.
President Erdoğan and his Serbian counterpart Vučić will hold a tête-à-tête and attend meetings between the two countries’ delegations. President Erdoğan will meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia as well.The Turkey-Serbia Business Forum will also be held as part of the visit, during which various agreements are planned to be signed.
President Erdoğan is also expected to visit Novi Pazar-Sandžak during his stay in Serbia.
Turkey attaches great importance to boosting its relations with Serbia and it is hoped that this visit will constitute an important step toward further consolidating the bilateral relations in a way that will benefit the entire region.
