The Duchess of Cambridge dazzled in a bottle green evening gown as she and Prince William made an impressive entrance for the glittering reception in Islamabad tonight in a tuk tuk - at which the Duke of Cambridge highlighted the country's development in a keynote speech.
The Duke wore an eye-catching black Sherwani - a long coat-like jacket that is knee length and usually worn for formal occasions or weddings - with matching trousers at the National Monument of Pakistan.
The couple drove up in the rickshaw decorated to mark the royal visit and fitted with lights ahead of the event hosted by British High Commissioner Thomas Drew for them to meet the great and the good of Pakistan society.
During his keynote speech, Prince William highlighted the relationship between the UK and Pakistan - and also referred to when his grandmother the Queen visited more than fifty years ago, saying: 'Stood here with this magnificent monument behind me, I am struck by the great strides Pakistan has made since its birth seventy-two years ago.
The view from this hill would have been quite different when my grandmother, The Queen, first visited over half a century ago. Looking out, one would have seen the beginnings of a city under construction, yet to become the great capital that it is today.
'And with successive visits by my mother and my father, this view has continued to change, with the city constantly growing and with it my family's affection for Pakistan.'

We share unique bonds and so it will always be in our best interests for Pakistan to succeed,' the duke (pictured, with Kate in the background) said to the crowd. 'You can always rely on the UK to keep playing an important role as a key partner and friend'

Make them green with envy in a Jenny Packham dress like Kate's
It's only day one of the Pakistan tour, but already the Duchess of Cambridge has ticked two of her go-to labels off the list. Catherine Walker and now Jenny Packham!
She looked positively glowing in this embellished green gown, which features long sleeves, structured shoulders and crystal detailing around the neckline and waist. When teamed with a matching fringed scarf draped over one side, silver Jimmy Choo heels and statement earrings by Onitaa, it's our favourite look of the trip so far. The colour is beautiful on Kate, and it's easy to see why Jenny Packham is a favourite.
It's a custom made version of the 'Georgia' dress, which you can buy now in purple over at Harrods (click right).
Or razzle dazzle 'em in one of the gorgeous green options from our edit below instead. This Club L dress will do the trick for a fraction of the price!
