Profiles in Courage
In 1955, John F.
Kennedy published the book, Profiles in
Courage, which described the courage shown by elected leaders under
enormous pressure from their parties and their constituents. Profiles in Courage, which Kennedy
dedicated to his wife, received the Pulitzer Prize for history in 1957.
