People really do look hotter in the summer, according to a
study.
Nearly three-quarters of people picked a summer photograph
over a winter picture of the same person in a survey for an online dating site.
The summer snaps made the subject look happier according to
72 per cent of respondents, while half of those questioned said the person
looked healthier.
Having sunshine lighting up their picture made people look
more confident, said 37 per cent of the 2,000 British adults surveyed by
Match.com, while 21 per cent said people looked better in summer clothes and
accessories.
The dating service is advising is urging singles to
'summer-proof' their online profiles by adding summery photos of themselves.
Researchers found 73 per cent of people rated others as more
attractive in the summer than winter.
And more than half the people polled (54 per cent) said they
feel more attractive in the summer, while only one in 50 (two per cent) felt
they look better in the winter.
Women were rated as looking better in the summer by 82 per
cent of those who voted, while 65 per cent said men were more suited to the
warmer weather.
Kate Taylor, of Match.com, said: 'It's natural that we find
others more appealing in the summer.
'Typically, both sexes look better when outdoors and relaxed
rather than huddled up in hats and scarves.
'Plus, you're more likely to be outside enjoying the
sunshine and having a good time, and this comes across as much in a photo as it
does in person.
'If you are currently dating, or looking to start, now is
the perfect time to show what makes you great.
'Make the most of looking happier and healthier and use the
extra confidence boost to meet even more new people.
'If you're using a dating service, make sure you have a
summery photo for your profile picture, as this will make you look even more
attractive in the eyes of your potential date.'
Tricked into parenthood: How men are SABOTAGING women's
birth control in a bid to 'leave a legacy'

Men are 'tricking' women into pregnancy by sabotaging their
efforts to use contraception, doctors are warning.
A study led by Brown
University involving 641
ob-gyn patients, found that 16per cent had been with partners who had pricked
holes in condoms or hid birth control pills behind their backs.
Experts suggest that men resort to these measures because
they 'want to leave a legacy', have an 'intense desire for a nuclear family',
or want to exercise control.
