Angelique Boyer Telenovelas 2015: Actress Would Love to Be 'La Usurpadora,' But Here's Why She Won't Do It

When "La Usurpadora" aired in 1998, Angelique Boyer was 9 years old.
Still, the 26-year-old actress remembers the show vividly, she said in an interview with "Hoy," according to Rotativo.
"I saw it, and I loved it," she said. "It really was a great melodrama. I remember it perfectly, but it was just repeated. I think that there needs to be time between stories before you come back to them again and well, for an actress, I think it's a dream to do a character like that."
"La Usurpadora" tells the story of twins Paola and Paulina, who were separated at birth. Paola is rich and evil. And though she is married, she has lovers. Paulina, on the other hand, grew up poor and is a good woman. She, in turn, is being cheated on by her fiance.
Paulina and Paola cross paths, and Paola persuades Paulina to take her place at home. Paola wants to go on a year-long vacation with her lover.
The Salvador Mejía show starred Gaby Spanic and Fernando Colunga.
Though Boyer has said before she wanted to take a break from acting after the end of "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," she may be back soon.
"It's a rhythm that I love," she said about shooting telenovelas. "I'm very accustomed to it. My whole life has revolved around these schedules, and I don't depend on my own time. ... Yes, I miss it."
Boyer is currently touring Mexico with boyfriend Sebastián Rulli. The two are performing the play "Los Hombres Son de Marte, Las Mujeres Son de Venus."
Mhoni Vidente predicted Rulli and Boyer would be back for another telenovela sometime in 2015, according to Nueva Magazine.
The two have already worked on two telenovelas together, with the first being 2010's "Teresa."

William Levy posted a picture to his Instagram account of himself just taking a breather in the sun.
The star captioned the photo, "Yeah... I'll relax a little.. Sometimes you need it."
As rumors spark about his breakup with actress Elizabeth Gutierrez, the two have been frequently spotted together, but they are not back together, "Sal y Pimienta" reports.
Levy says they are just like family.
He made it clear that he and Gutierrez will always support each other no matter what happens between them.
Levy is the face of a new rum called Miami Club Rum. Gutierrez showed her support for Levy at the launching of Maimi Club Rum in February.
"I am super happy to do something new that my family can celebrate with me and that I can feel closer to them," he said. "Elizabeth and I are family and we always will be. We have known how to compartmentalize."
They have been very dedicated to their children together, though they are not very open about the relationship.
Their daughter, Kailey, turned five on Friday and Gutierrez celebrated in a "Frozen"-themed birthday party with family, according to Latin Post.
Kailey loves the movie and has watched it with her dad Levy multiple times. He previously told Latin Post that she loves to sing "Let it Go."
Gutierrez has been focusing on her kids lately and is happy that so many reached out to her about Kailey's birthday.
"U guys are just amazing!! Thank u 4 all the messages, the [love], the beautiful pics for my lil K," she said.
The stars also have a son together named Christopher which Gutierrez also posts pictures of. In one photo with him the caption reads: "I'm so proud of you my love."
