JOHN F. KENNEDY
LIBRARY FOUNDATION
Greetings,
We are grateful for the more than 46,000 nominations we received this year for the 2019 Profile in Courage Award (our highest ever!). Thank you to those of you who submitted.
I want to make sure you know that this year’s Profile in Courage Award honoree will be announced by Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and Jack Schlossberg on CBS Sunday Morning on April 7, 2019.
Tune in at 9:00 A.M. ET / 8:00 A.M. CT on Sunday, April 7 to find out which elected official has shown political courage and exemplifies the values and traits that President Kennedy most admired.
President Kennedy believed that courage was the single most important quality a leader could have. In his book, Profiles in Courage, JFK commemorates political leaders who acted for the greater good, regardless of the consequences — whether it was losing an election or being shunned by their own party.
We’re so excited to share with you who will be honored this year with the Profile in Courage Award — tune in to find out!
Thanks,
Steven M. Rothstein
