Ethel Skakel Kennedy (1928) is the widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, brother of President John F. Kennedy.
Ethel Kennedy married in 1950 and became a widow in 1968. During 18 years of marriage she gave birth to 11 children.
Their eleventh child was born after the assassination of Robert Kennedy in The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Ethel was in that hotel, too.
Ethel took an active part in the election campaigns of her husband`s brother and of her husband.
After the death of her husband, Ethel continues to participate in the political life of the country.
And she still has a lot of children and these children already have children...
She continued to live at the family home, Hickory Hill, until 2009, when it was sold.
