What you don't know about Justin Trudeau

Whatever happened to Dolph Lundgren?

In 1985, it took four words—"I must break you"—to rocket Dolph Lundgren to international stardom. As Soviet killing machine Ivan Drago, the towering antagonist of Rocky IV, Lundgren made a serious impression; of course, in the years since, it's been revealed that he only got into movies on a lark, as his Masters' degree in chemical engineering probably would have opened up employment options for him in a different field. Fortunately, Hollywood has been pretty good to him, and if you've ever wondered whatever happened to Dolph, you may be surprised to know that he never really went away—and that, thanks to an old friend, his profile may soon be higher than ever.

Whatever happened to Jean-Claude Van Damme?

Jean-Claude Van Damme began his public life as a teenager in the 1970s—a Belgian-born martial arts prodigy who became a champion in both karate and kickboxing. In the 1980s and 1990s, the charismatic and photogenic "Muscles from Brussels" became an international movie star with starring roles in fight-focused action hits like Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Hard Target, and Timecop. (He even had a cameo as himself on Friends.) And then, just as fast and unlikely as his rise, came the fall. Here's how the man born Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg has occupied himself in recent years.

What you don't know about Justin Trudeau

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is a lot more than just easy on the eyes — he's a progressive, liberal feminist who isn't afraid to march in a gay pride parade, personally welcome refugees into his country or even make fun of himself during the campaign for Canada's highest office.

As Trudeau's profile rises, so too does that of the incredibly polite nation to our north. But what do we really know about Canada's 23rd prime minister, who once said he wanted the legendary Meryl Streep to play him in a movie about his life? Let's find out.

The 45-year-old Trudeau is Canada's first second-generation prime minister: his father, the late Pierre Elliott Trudeau, served as Canada's 15th prime minister from April 1968 to June 1979 and again from March 1980 to June 1984. According to Brittanica, Trudeau Sr.'s terms in office are remembered for the establishment of diplomatic relations with China and improved relations with France, along with the creation of a new Canadian constitution.

It was after his father's death in 2000 that Trudeau started to think seriously about a career in politics.
